Muchichili Safari House is approx. 175km from Lusaka. Lusaka to Chirundu is 135km, allow 2 hours. Follow the signs for Muchichili Safari House and Woods Camp Site from Chirundu. Turn LEFT at Chirundu border. From here the dirt road is poor so allow 1 hour to cover the next 40km.
If transferring from Gwabi drive approx. 10km from Chirundu turn LEFT sign posted to Gwabi drive 3km.

If driving all the way to Muchichili, continue along the main road and drive across the new bridge over Kafue River approx. 14km from Chirundu. Continue for 1km, where the road splits 3 ways, take the RIGHT fork. Drive for approx. 20km to Chiawa Village (look for tall cell tower by side of the road, drive past Clinic & Chiawa Secondary School) Shortly after the school turn RIGHT onto the Lower Zambezi National Park Road, drive for approx. 1km through the village. At the end of the village (1km after the turn off) turn RIGHT onto the Muchichili track for 3km to the house.
